The 5th and 9th house are related to wealth and 7th and 10th are related to happiness
The planets in 3rd, 6th and 11th house gives inauspicious result.
Planets of 8th house is not auspicious as it is 12th from 9th house of luck and fortune.
The ruler of 2nd, 12th and 8th house bestow result as per association.
If 8th lord becomes rulers of 3rd, 6th and 11th house than it becomes inauspicious but if it owns the trine house it becomes auspicious.

As per brihat parasara hora shastra, here are the details of auspicious and inauspicious planets for each ascendant:
Aries ascendant
When Mars conjunct with trine lord like sun or Jupiter it gives auspicious result. The benefic nature of Mars will prevail unless 8th house and 8th lord are afflicted mildly or intensely. Saturn is malefic in this lagna being lord of 11th house as 3rd. 6th and 11th are inauspicious houses as per brihat parasara hora shastra.
Mercury being the lord of 3rd and 6th house is malefic in nature. Venus is the lord of 2nd and 7th house so it is malefic for Aries ascendant as 2nd and 7th house are maraka house. As per sage Parasara though Jupiter is a trine lord it is also the lord of 12th house so when Saturn conjunct Jupiter, rajyoga is not formed as Saturn is the lord of 11th house and Jupiter being lord of 12th house. Moon is neutral and Mercury, mars can also be maraka for Aries ascendant along with Venus.
Taurus ascendant
Venus being the lord of the 6th house, Jupiter being lord of 8th, 11th house, moon being lord of 3rd house are malefic. Sun being a malefic and being lord of angular house sheds its malefic nature but it is not auspicious as it is a natural malefic. While Saturn being the lord of 9th and 10th house becomes yogakaraka planet that can give good result. Mercury being a trine lord but at the same time being the lord of 2nd house which is a maraka house gives result depending on its placement and sign, while Venus, Jupiter, moon are fatal in nature. Mars is a maraka for taurus ascenedant but it cannot be considered as functional malefic as it is the lord of angular house and it can shed its malefic nature.
Gemini ascendant
Mars being the lord of 6th and 11th house is functional malefic. Jupiter is termed as malefic as it is the lord of 7th and 10th house. Being the lord of angular houses Jupiter looses significance of being benefic and also it is the lord of maraka house. Sun being the lord of third house is malefic. Mercury is considered auspicious as lagna Lord. Venus is listed auspicious as it is the lord of 5th house and 12th house. Saturn being the lord of 8th and 9th house is neutral and conjunction with jupiter, being maraka, would not give good result. Moon is considered maraka for Gemini but moon would give result only with the planet associated with it.
Cancer ascendant
