A bathroom or washroom is a room, typically in a home or other residential building, that contains either a bathtub or a shower (or both). Here are the vastu tips of bathroom.

- Bathroom should be ideally in north west or west side of the house ( please excuse the mismatch with video). Another favourable side can be south.
- Never build toilet in east or north east side of the house.
- Fit the pipes in north east side of bathroom.
- Construct the toilet in west or north west side of building.
- Construct shower and tap in northern side of bathroom which is also suitable for mirrors.
- Avoid sharing bathroom walls with kitchen or pooja room. Avoid leaky taps too.
- Geyser should be placed in South east corner of bathroom.
- Place bath tub in west and wash basin in north east side of bathroom.
- Place overhead tanks in South west side of building.
- Place windows or ventilators in east or north side of bathroom. Exhaust fans if any should be towards the South of the bathroom.
- Bath should be taken in west side of bathroom.
- Mirrors should be in east wall of bathroom.
- Place almirah in South west side of bathroom and dirty linen in west side of bathroom.
- Washing machine should be in South east or north west.
- The slope of the bathroom should be towards north to east.
- The best suitable colours for bathroom are light blue, grey, pink, and white. Avoid dark colors.
- East, north east and west are ideal direction for placing bathtub.
- Don’t construct toilet under staircase.
- The negativity of the bathroom can be removed by keeping rock salt or few drops of lemongrass oil in a bowl.
- Avoid decorative statues or idols in bathroom
