Adhi yoga

The word “Adhi” is from the word “Adhipati”. As the word “Adhi” is related to authority or high ranks, the adhi yoga indicates the combination of planets that can bring authority or higher position.

There are several types of Adhi yoga which are subsets of the ancient adhi yoga. As per the oldest statement of Adhi yoga, it states that when an individual has three natural benefic planets, Mercury, Jupiter and Venus in 6th, 7th and 8th house from moon’s sign, it forms Adhi yoga. But the yoga will only be formed if there are no aspects of malefic on those planets.
